Example Content Strategy (2025)
Content Strategy Overview:
To streamline your workflow while maintaining consistency and quality, I work with clients using a two-tiered content system: Easy-Made Content and Retainer Content
1.
Easy-Made Content (EMC)
Easy-Made Content is designed to keep your platforms active and algorithm-friendly without adding creative fatigue or production pressure. This is your “filler” content — but that doesn’t mean low value. Think of it as smart, lightweight content that keeps you visible and engaged with your audience on a regular basis.
This content will help keep your account recommended, optimize discoverability, and maintain momentum between larger content drops.
EMC | Dance / Selfie Videos With Unique Angle
Utilize unique angles to film quick selfie videos, whether you’re at home or outside. By experimenting with perspectives—like shooting from below or using reflections—you can elevate simple moments into visually engaging content.
EMC | Trying Skincare at Golden Hour
Film yourself at golden hour applying your skincare items, make sure to use music overlay with trending sounds! Also even adding an extra orange golden hour lamp can enhance the aesthetic of the video, just make sure the orange is balanced out and not washing your face out too much.
2.
Retention Content (RC)
Retainer Content is your high-impact, high-quality content that retains your brand, brings in new audiences, and showcases your storytelling abilities. These pieces will be more curated, involve more thoughtful filming and editing, and function as narrative-style content with stronger hooks and arcs.
RC | GRWM & Transitioning Between Unique Angle
Utilizing unique angles create GRWMs while putting on clothing or starting your morning. Transitions do not need to be anything besides cuts between different angles, or body positions.
RC | Monthly Finds
Record all the products you have enjoyed from the past month, show clips of you using these products with VO in between clips of you talking about the product.
RC | Trying ____ (Product)
Video of you actively trying a product for the first time, targeting products that are specifically unique to your audience and framing the videos to emphasise this. With this, you can also raise the stakes to a degree to help retain the audience. Though raising the stakes is optional, and should only be done if you can naturally implement a higher stake.
Example: if you’re promoting a luxury skin care product that is expensive, say something similar to: Trying this 5k skincare product before a brand shoot. My skin is sensitive but I have been meaning to try it– hopefully it works well!
RC | Come With Me to Every ____ Spot in LA
These videos would be more location specific, you can choose something like: Boba cafes, Hiking trails, or anything specific enough to be unique, but broad enough to be able to make this into a series. This helps you set up location based branding opportunities as well. I would suggest thinking of things you eat or drink everyday and using this as your catalyst for the series. Smoothies, Boba, Coffee, BLTs, etc. But it is up to you, just be creative! Note: the more obscure the item / concept you choose the better. More unique items can be funny and also generate a very niche audience which tends to be very loyal! Though, if you can not think of anything you do or consume a lot you can go broader.
Example: Try Boba places that serve Ube Boba in LA, start with your context: “I am trying every Ube Boba in LA. Right now I am going to try Boba Time in Marina Del Rey.” – Film you at the location, clip of the boba, and your review of the item in the car. Every so often update with context on how many you tried so far.
RC | _____ (Trending Item) Review
Use trending items to your advantage. Give an honest review of the pricing, and the value the item adds. With this trending items usually have some story around them, try to look into this more and share the story. If the story is rich enough, you can even play on it a bit, utilizing why it is trending in order to make a more in depth narrative.
Example: “Just bought a Labubu, I bought it for 30 bucks, but they can go up a bunch. Heard they are also cursed. Apparently people, after buying these, have been getting scratches and have had items being placed in random spots in their home. Not sure if I believe it….
In Depth Example: “Just bought a Labubu, I have heard these things are haunting people who buy them, so naturally I have to see for myself. I am going to record my next week with my Labubu, and update you each morning.” – go on to update with clips each morning– even stirring the pot a bit and moving items around to film (satire could be funny as well)
